Plot: Chief Inspector Paul Fein and his son, Inspector Ben Fein, probe into the double homicide of banker and political figure Phillip Chandler and his wife. Their prime suspect, Evan Chandler, is later found dead. As Paul is poised to become the new police chief, he uncovers a drug-related corruption scandal involving the current chief. Despite being removed from the case, Paul and Ben persist in their investigation, compelling a fiscal investigator to join them.
